Christmas 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas!!  

These are all of the Connerley Grandchildren.  Jackson is in the middle.  He is 5.  Kalyn in 4. Crew and Caleb are 3 and Lamar will be 3 in Feb.  Sarah is 4 mo. and Corbin 3 mo. 

Memories

                                                                I have been doing some cleaning out getting ready to move - again!  I found some great pictures from college.  Just thought I would share.  Lorie, Ellen, and Kara - remember the college days.  What fun!!

Our first family trip to the Zoo!

This was our first family visit to the Memphis Zoo. We had a wonderful time. It was the perfect day for visiting the animals. The weather was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed looking at the animals. Kalyn and Lamar enjoyed looking at the snakes. Mom, however, did not. Those are the best snakes ones inside glass and not in your house (that is a story for another time). Kalyn says four year olds like snakes. Kalyn was looking for a place to sit and rest her legs. She found the perfect place in a hollow tree with a friend.

The elephant was big hit. The kids loved them. We watched them eat. You know what happens after eating. He did is business right there in front of us. Kalyn laughed and laughed. She found that so funny.

After looking at the animals, all the kids had fun playing on the play ground. We had a wonderful day at the Zoo.

We had tickets to a Red Birds game. We decided that the Zoo was not quite a full day...So... the kids and I rested in the 4-Runner while Chad ran in to the Apple Store to get some info. on compters that we might need when we move overseas. That 30 minutes in the running car, with gas prices the way they are, was wonderful. We headed to the ball field.

The kids had fun at the game as well. I do not know how much of the game they really saw, but we had fun any way.

Lamar had more fun on the ground between the seats than he did in a seat. Between the "Red Bird" and playing on the ground he had a blast. What a day. We were all ready to head back to Grenada. We could not have asked for such a wonderful family day!!

Kalyn's 3 year preschool graduation

Kalyn had a wonderful year at Mrs. Mary's in the 3 year preschool room. She learned so very much. We are very proud of her.

T-Ball

Kalyn was our t-ball player this year. She really enjoyed it. She and her cousin Jackson were on the same team, The Firecrackers.

Spring Time!

Kalyn is now 4 and Lamar is now 2. The are full of life and growing so fast. Mommy had to have a photo shoot to capture their growth!

Disney World

We had the wonderful opportunity to go to Disney World during spring break.  We were unable to have Lamar's birthday party because of the stomach virus.  A few weeks later we had a combined party for Lamar (2) and Kalyn (4).  That Saturday morning we gave them Mickey and Minnie t-shrits and told them we were leaving that afternoon to go see Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  It really did not sink in until later.  We drove half way and then on Sunday drove to my Aunt Pam and Uncle Jim's house.  On Monday and Tuesday we took the kids over to Disney.  We had a Wonderful Time.  I think the highlights were seeing Cinderella's Castle, of course Cinderella, and riding the Goofey Roller Coaster and meeting some of the characters like Tigger and Darby.  Lamar loves Tigger  Both of them got off the roller coaster and asked to ride again.  We had the best time!!
